Bump Watch: 3rd Trimester Already?

Yes, third trimester is here already. Crazy. We got these pictures done at 27 weeks, mostly to capture my belly before it got too huge and watermelon-like, but it sorta could be to mark the beginning of the final trimester :-)

I’m still feeling great overall, just have my days of backaches and hip pains. Heartburn and sleep issues are becoming more frequent (it is work turning over that belly at night!), and I’m sure will only get worse as the weeks go by. I’m starting to prepare myself more for a natural birth, taking classes with Mark, and reading fascinating books. Two days ago I heard a baby being born down the hall during birthing class and it made me so excited for November. I’m feeling ready…usually. Some times I’m beyond excited and wish November would hurry up, and I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy this special time with Jaxson. Other times, especially when 3 year old melt downs are happening, I wish he’d stay in forever because I can barely handle 1 child some days, let a lone a demanding newborn on top! I’m worried how Savannah will do sharing me and everything else with her baby brother. She is excited but also so-very-not understanding about sharing anything, let alone Mommy and Daddy, and I think it will be quite an adjustment to get used to on everyone’s part. But, I guess we’ll make it just like everyone else when we get to that point!

P.S. Want to know where I got my “pregnancy ring” (aka, my real wedding rings don’t fit anymore) in the first photo? A new review and giveaway is up!

Letting Go, Moving On

Alrighty then, moving on now from the drama.

Enjoy your weekend, folks. I sure will with a weekend treat to visit my best friend :-) Be back next week!

Prima Princessa Needs Your Votes!

If you’ve followed my other blog, O Momma Reviews, you’ve probably seen some reviews for Prima Princessa.  The latest review was posted just yesterday about The Nutcracker and we also have Swan Lake. You can read the full reviews over there, but basically, these DVD’s are for young girls and introduce them to classic ballets and basic dance steps. Savannah loves these movies and they’re great for all ages of younger girls.

They are trying to get another grant to be able to produce a third video presenting Sleeping Beauty and they need some votes to qualify for the Shine A Light Contest!  If you could take a minute to vote for this amazing mom entrepreneur company, I know they would be grateful and we’ll be grateful to have access to a new dance video :-)

You can check out clips of the videos here if you’d like to see what this company is about, and vote here.  Voting ends tonight at midnight and they just need 26 more votes to qualify!

Thanks so much!

Quicky

1. I’m alive. But sick. Sorry if I’m not around this week, I might not even make it to school tomorrow *gasp*.

2. Savannah is home! She grew even in the two weeks she was gone.

3. Two giveaways on Review blog!

The Women Review

I finally got the see “The Women” movie yesterday!

My thoughts are posted over on the Review blog.

Speak Up

Apparently Joey was also on the Today show talking about his situation of China revoking his visa. Anne from The Watson Highlands was the one who told me about it (thanks, Anne!) and as she said,  “What a disgrace that the Chinese government won’t let him have a voice.” Indeed, it is. But I’m proud that despite China’s efforts he’s still here, and all over the world, talking about it.

The article and video clip can be found here on the Today Show’s website.
