22 years old, but don’t let the age fool you, she doesn’t live the typical 22 year old life, nor acts like one (or so she’s told). Lately she’s been found at home snuggling with her little girl, sharing many laughs with her husband and family, folding endless baskets of laundry, changing diapers, and also has added the joys and stresses of college life as an English Major (Almost done, WOO!). Getting straight A’s her first year back puts the icing on her Super Mom Cake (who would have thought being a Mom only makes grades better?). However, Super Moms aren’t always perfect (what, you didn’t know that you can be super but not perfect? Even Super Man has his weaknesses) and this blog is meant to unveil those masks to reveal true motherhood: it’s hard work and ain’t always pretty.
She enjoys reading, but doesn’t have time to really get into a good book–or to finish one–since going back to school and being a mom. Now reading other people’s blogs makes up for the lack of pleasure book reading. She also loves to write, obviously. She finds it freeing, challenging, a way to capture memories, and just plain fun. She dreams of writing a book one day, Lord willing. And well…if she can find the time.
Her relationship to Christ is an important part of her life. But, again, time and life’s busy distractions constantly pull her in the other direction. In the end though, she realizes that she’s no Super Mom without the power of Christ working through her.
