Mark and Leah met in October of 2005 during their freshman year of college. Through an odd series of events where neither actually talked to each other involving a bus stop, the school cafeteria and Facebook.com, Mark and Leah finally met in person at an awkward, shy lunch. And yet, from then they were inseparable.
They became friends fast, despite their extremely shy habits at first. Things moved along quickly between the two; within a week Mark and Leah were having a date under the Appalachian stars and he was telling her, “This may be obviously but…I like you.” What a classic Mark line. Simple, cute, to the point, and romantic as they come.
As you may have noticed, Mark and Leah have a thing for moving fast apparently. Having dated for just over a year, they were engaged and had a baby on the way. Yes, it all happened fast, but they are making it and more in love than ever.
Mark asked Leah’s hand in marriage October 2006, on an NC mountain with a gorgeous view. And, they finally became one family May 19th, 2007 surrounded by friends and family, and those mountains they love.
