And of course, the cute and lovable, Savannah (Also known as Savannah Banana and Goof).

Savannah Leigh was born February 22nd, 2007 (she is now TWO!) after a long day of induced labor. She was quite cozy and content in her mommy’s (huge) belly and didn’t want to come out on her due date. They gave her a chance to make the move into the big world herself, but she didn’t take it, so action was taken. Stubbornness seems to run in the family (where could that come from? I have no idea). But, the cute and sweet factor makes up for it!


She has moved past the Elmo phase and moved into loving anything princesses.  Or Dora. She loves to dance and sing, having tea parties with her family and stuff animals, doing puzzles, playing dress up, as well as play with dirt, bugs and trains (gotta mix up the “gender” associations a little bit!). She loves to play with older kids; her sister Kaylee and aunt Emily are her best friends. She is absolutely a joy in our lives and makes our heart grow fonder by the day as she learns new ways to make us laugh and smile.  She talks amazingly well, which helps us parents know what she needs, likes and dislikes (we hear that a little too often now a days!).

Our girl isn’t a baby anymore, she’s a little girl, and the time is flying by way too fast.
