How far: 16 weeks
Total weight gain: 11 pounds so far. I’m liking the extra padding :-)
Maternity clothes? I’m in that “fun”  in between stage. Too small for my maternity pants and shirts, but too big for my normal pants. Most of my regular shirts still work and I live in dresses and skirts with elastic waists right now. Thank goodness its summer!
Stretch marks? No new ones
How’s sleep going? Great a long as my kids will let me sleep!
Best moment this week: Savannah including the baby in everything, making things for the baby, counting the baby when we make sure we got everyone before leaving. And, one night we were reading a book about babies and Jaxson gave my belly a kiss (otherwise, he is oblivious to this change coming). So sweet.
Miss anything? Lots of foods I used to love. Avocado being one of them, which is why I put “yuck” on the chalkboard next to it. I thought it would be fun to remember I used to love it and eat it everyday in some way, whether in smoothies or salsa, and now I can’t stand it. Sad.
Movement: A little bit. I’ve been feeling this baby since 10 weeks but its been SO light compared to Jaxson. Even now at 16 weeks, this baby’s movements tickle from the inside and feel like a fish. I’ve never felt movement like this before with my others, I hope it means this baby is a laid back gentle kid. We could use one of those :-)
Food cravings: Nothing major lately. 2 weeks ago Mark drove to Chicfila full speed to get me some soup I was craving at 10pm before they closed!
Things that make me queasy: Its gotten so much better since 13 weeks, but occasionally a really dirty diaper might induce the gag reflux again.
Bump status: No denying it now! I get people commenting on my pregnancy all the time now, its growing fast these days.
Gender prediction: I’m so confused on this. This pregnancy has been a mix between both my girl and boy pregnancies symptom wise, and I’ve had both boy and girl dreams. Just when I think I know for sure (I thought boy for sure for a long time) something will change up or I’ll have a dream opposite. We aren’t finding out this time so I think God is having fun keeping me guessing :-)
Wedding rings on or off? Took them off yesterday once I realized they were leaving marks on my fingers. I blame the heat.
Weekly wisdom: Elastic is a pregnant woman’s best friend.  Not sure what I would be wearing without it!
Looking forward to: Feeling this baby’s movements stronger in the next few weeks, I’m ready to feel more than fishy tickles and feel this little one more often.
