I just found your blog and read the post about your decision to place Kaylee for adoption. Thank you for sharing your story! I am adoptive mom of a daughter, and we’re waiting on our second adoption — and I have two sons that are home-grown. I will probably never get to meet to my daughter’s birthparents (the orphanage my daughter was at discourages contact, and adoption is still very taboo in India), and I’m so blessed by reading your story.

I missed this but it would be a tie for me my must haves with my 2nd was a sit n stand stroller (got mine at walmart.com)and I suggest getting a clip on umbrella to go over Savannah’s seat if you use it a lot outside and my Ergo carrier (<~ it is the BEST carrier I have and I have a lot). They have an infant insert for Mr. Jax to wear in the front and if you need it for Savannah you can wear her in the back or side AND it is manly enough for Mark to wear :) I still can wear my 3 y/o comfortably they are completely worth the money too as they are washable and fold up nicely and you can buy accessories like a belt bag (not a fanny pack lol) and a backpack that fit onto the carrier http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/ … I have the original one and recommend it to all my nursing mothers too
